White Rabbit EnglandWhite Rabbit England is the brain child of sisters Charlotte and Victoria who set out to recreate the magical lamps they loved as children. They loved white rabbits and had a pet white rabbit called Harvey. "So White Rabbit was a perfect name for the business and we always say 'white rabbits' to each other on the first of the month for good luck too!"

As little girls in the Nineteen Seventies, Victoria and her sister Charlotte slept with an enchanting pottery toadstool light beside their beds. Hand painted in earthenware and decorated with dancing elves and fairies, it was the magical centerpiece of their bedside table, filling their bedroom with a gentle, reassuring light.

Some years ago, now grown up, married and with young children of their own, the sisters set out to find a replacement for the light they had known and loved as children. When they couldn’t find anything suitable, they resolved to make their own. But not just for themselves; for children all over Britain too. And so White Rabbit England was born.

From the original fairy toadstool nightlights, Dewdrop and Bramble, the White Rabbit England brandhas expanded to include bone china animal lamps and a range of lifestyle interiors to compliment the range. "Our customers wanted more products to match the lamps they love, so we have designed a range of cushions, bedding, blankets, throws, crockery and framed prints."

 

Their collection of new bone china animal lamps in the shape of their famous rabbit, owl and dog are proving to be best sellers. The latest animal in the range is their cat lamp and watch this space in summer 2012 for two new additions to the animal lamp family...
